MDA (3,4-Methylenedioxyamphetamine) is an entactogen, stimulant, and psychedelic drug, primarily encountered as a recreational drug. It is a serotonin-norepinephrine-dopamine releasing agent. While it has no currently accepted medical use, it was once used in psychotherapy and is being researched for potential use in treating PTSD and social anxiety.
